The Camp at Lake Wappapello

The Forest Event Center is located at The Camp on Lake Wappapello’s property.

It is located at 153 University Forest Drive in Wappapello, Mo.

The chapel is in one building and the reception hall is in another building.

“We have two different packages,” said Sydney Norman with The Camp at Lake Wappapello. “We can do all the decorating for you. But we also have a DIY package where you can come in and do all the decorating on your own. You can come in, measure tables, figure out exactly what you want, but once you see the decorations that we offer it’s kind of hard to pass that situation up. We have pretty much there is to choose from here on property. So, you don’t have to go out and purchase your own decorations and do all that work.”It is a turnkey service. You walk in and you’re reaady to get married.”

The Camp has local bands every single Saturday night with two really, exciting national acts coming in this summer.

Easton Corbin will be there on June 15. Tickets are on sale.

“It’s their first time coming here, but people are so excited. That’s going to be one of the craziest shows we have this year,” said Norman.

On July 13, Jon Langston will perform.

“He puts on an amazing show,” said Norman. “He is so interactive with the fans. He’ll be taking phones while he’s on stage and taking selfies and recording videos with all the fans. June and July are going to be huge, huge shows. Those are shows you’re not going to want to miss.”
