The Chateau Girardeau introduces the Meadows Memory Care residential wing

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Chateau Girardeau will host an open house event on Feb. 20, 2025, to introduce the community to The Meadows, a state-of-the-art memory care residential wing.

The event, scheduled from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 3120 Independence St., will feature a Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony, tours of The Meadows and opportunities to meet with staff members.

The Meadows offers specialized Montessori-based services for residents with memory care needs. The program aims to support older adults and people living with dementia by creating a prepared environment that enables individuals to retain their dignity and independence.

Amenities include secure living spaces, daily activities promoting cognitive and physical wellness, on-site transportation and access to secure outdoor spaces.
