Grand opening of Selfie Street LLC takes place in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU Mo. (KBSI) – Southeast Missouri’s first interactive selfie experience made its grand opening on October 1 at noon.

Selfie Street, LLC holds 20 creative backdrops, seasonal to abstract, for visitors of all ages to choose from.

Lance McClellon, who is co-owner of the business shares ones of his favorite backgrounds.

“The bed, where you can take a picture standing up, but if you rotate it, it kind of makes you look like you’re hanging from the wall,” said McClellon.

The self-guided business also welcomes pets and features ring lights to heighten the photography experience.

Catherine Stovall is also a co-owner of the business.

“It’s an affordable way for the community to get professional family pictures or just have a nice family night out,” said Stovall. “That kind of stuff. It’s all about the families and the fun and being able to do stuff together.”

Tickets are $15 for 30 minutes and $25 for an hour.

Booking can be made online and walk-ins are welcome.
