PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — Paducah police have arrested two Metropolis, Illinois women and a Paducah man in connection with a robbery reported late last month.
Officers were called on Nov. 25 to the 2000 block of Cairo Road for a report that a man had been assaulted behind a local business and had his phone stolen. Police said the suspects fled in a white passenger car. The victim sustained facial injuries but declined medical treatment.
Detectives identified the occupants of the vehicle as Janiyah McCray, Stephanie McCray and Quante Askew. Investigators determined the assault occurred following an argument and that the victim’s phone was taken during the incident.
All three suspects were located, interviewed and arrested Wednesday. They were charged with first-degree robbery and booked into the McCracken County Jail.
