Three arrested in joint investigation into methamphetamine trafficking

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) – A search warrant executed on Feb. 27, 2025, at a residence on Gass Road in Ledbetter, KY, has resulted in the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of a significant quantity of illicit narcotics.

Deputies from the Livingston County and McCracken County Sheriff’s Offices, along with the Kentucky State Police, conducted the search as part of a joint investigation into methamphetamine trafficking.

The search yielded approximately one pound of suspected methamphetamine, 200 grams of suspected marijuana, Schedule II narcotic pills, over $7,000 in cash, loaded firearms, and various drug paraphernalia indicative of trafficking activity.

Deputy Zackary T. Dunigan arrested 68-year-old Stewart “Lynn” Dickerson of Ledbetter, 53-year-old Eric Hinchey of Paducah, and 46-year-old Donna Craig of Ledbetter in connection with the investigation.

All three individuals were charged with enhanced first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, enhanced trafficking in marijuana, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dickerson and Hinchey face additional charges, including possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, as their trafficking charges are second offenses.

This investigation highlights the ongoing efforts of local law enforcement to combat drug trafficking and protect the community from the dangers associated with illicit narcotics.
