Three injured in Graves County two-vehicle collision

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Three people were taken to area hospitals Saturday morning following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of KY 1684 and KY 849, according to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the scene at approximately 10:47 a.m. on Oct. 11. The investigation determined that Chase Workman, 17, of Brookport, Illinois, was driving a 1997 GMC C1500 south on KY 1684 when he was unable to stop at a posted stop sign. His vehicle entered the intersection and collided with a 2015 Ram Promaster van driven by Thomas Paschall, 47, of Symsonia.
Workman was transported by Mayfield/Graves County EMS to Baptist Health Paducah. Paschall and his passenger, Lydia Paschall, 19, also of Symsonia, were taken to Mercy Health–Lourdes Hospital. All three were treated for minor injuries and later released.
Deputy Chad Hall investigated the crash, with assistance from Sergeant Richard Edwards, Mayfield/Graves County EMS, the Mayfield Fire Department, and the Symsonia Fire Department.
