Three Missouri men arrested after alleged armed assault in Carbondale

CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) — Three Missouri men were arrested after an alleged armed assault in Carbondale, according to police.

Officers responded around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, to the 600 block of South Illinois Avenue.

Police said three men threatened a person, with two of them displaying firearms. One of the men also allegedly shoved the victim.

The victim left the scene and was not injured.

Officers recovered four firearms from the suspects, including one reported stolen in Missouri, police said.

Jonathon R. Bone, 19, of Farmington, Missouri, was arrested on charges of mob action, possession of a stolen firearm, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and aggravated battery.

Connor A. Kinnard, 21, also of Farmington, was arrested on charges of mob action and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.

Matthew D. Ketcherside, 18, of Desloge, Missouri, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault, mob action and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
