Three Rivers College donates medical, firefighting supplies to Eminence Volunteer Fire Department

EMINENCE, Mo. (KBSI) – Three Rivers College students and staff delivered medical and firefighting supplies to the Eminence Volunteer Fire Department.

The Three Rivers Fire Science and EMS programs delivered some medical and firefighting supplies to the Eminence Volunteer Fire Department on March 8 so the department can be prepared for emergencies while it rebuilds.

The fire department’s building caught fire in the early morning hours of March 5. The fire destroyed the entire station, equipment and seven vehicles.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Eminence Volunteer Fire Department and the community they serve following this terrible loss,” said Three Rivers President Dr. Wesley Payne.

“Three Rivers is happy that we could donate supplies to help Eminence during this difficult time,” said Will Cooper, Three Rivers Division Chair, Career Studies and Workforce Development.
