POPLAR BLUFF, Mo., (KBSI) — Three Rivers College has been named a finalist for the Experience Idol 2026 award, recognizing improvements to its student scholarship application process.
The honor, presented by Ellucian, highlights the college’s redesign of its scholarship system using the Ellucian Experience platform.
Officials said the new system replaces a manual, email-based process with a centralized, student-focused platform, significantly reducing processing time and improving accessibility.
College leaders said tasks that previously took hours can now be completed in minutes, and student participation in scholarship applications has doubled since the system launched last fall.
Three Rivers awards more than $14 million in financial aid annually, with students automatically considered for more than 280 scholarships through the admissions and FAFSA process.
Winners of the Experience Idol awards are expected to be announced April 21 at the Ellucian Live conference.
