Three Rivers College receives donated ambulance for EMS training
POPLAR BLUFF, Mo., (KBSI) — Three Rivers College has received a donated ambulance from Butler County EMS to enhance training for emergency medical services students.
The 2017 Ford Transit-250 ambulance will be stocked and ready for use by spring 2025 students in Paramedic, EMT, Fire Science and other emergency classes.
“We’re excited for our students to learn in a lifelike, simulated environment,” said Tami Cunningham, Three Rivers EMS and Fire Sciences director. “This will help prepare them for their future careers.”
The ambulance will be wrapped in a unique design to distinguish it as a training vehicle.
“Butler County EMS is excited to partner with Three Rivers College to provide equipment that can improve training and quality of EMS program graduates,” said David Ross, Butler County EMS director.
