Tornado Watch issued through 10 p.m. Saturday night (4/15/23)

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch in effect until 10 p.m. CDT Saturday evening.

This watch includes Bollinger, Butler, Cape Girardeau, Carter, Mississippi, New Madrid, Perry, Ripley, Scott, Stoddard and Wayne counties in southeast Missouri.

This watch includes Alexander, Jackson, Perry, Union, Franklin, Jefferson and Wayne counties in southern Illinois.

Tornadoes possible this evening, along with large hail and damaging wind gusts.
