Tracking devices help police arrest five burglary suspects

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, IL (KBSI) – A home on the 4000 block of Illinois Route 148 was burglarized twice, once on July 23 and the other on July 27.

Items stolen from the house include a TV, washer, dryer, oven, couch, oven, dishwasher, and many other items. However, some of the items had tracking devices installed and police were able to locate them inside a Carbondale residence.

Five people were arrested and remain in Williamson County Jail.
