Tractor-trailer overturns on Blandville Road; section closed to traffic

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) – UPDATE: U.S. 62/Blandville Road in McCracken County has reopened near mile point 7.1, between Mayfield Metropolis Road and McCracken Boulevard.

Crews will be conducting additional environmental cleanup work off the roadway.

Deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office responded early Tuesday morning to a report of an overturned tractor-trailer on Blandville Road.

The crash was reported around 6 a.m., and authorities said a section of Blandville Road between McCracken Boulevard and Mayfield Metropolis Road will remain closed for an undetermined period of time while crews work to clear the scene.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes until further notice.
