JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — Traffic changes related to the Deerwood Roundabout Project will begin Monday, Feb. 23, according to the City of Jackson.

City officials say temporary traffic signals will be activated on North High Street (U.S. 61), reducing traffic to one lane with alternating access from the north, south and west approaches. Motorists should expect delays in all directions.

East Deerwood Drive will also be closed at Hubble Creek and will not be accessible from U.S. 61. Detours will be posted at Francis Drive and Route Y to provide access to East Deerwood Drive. The detours will affect travel to Connection Point Church and the Jackson Civic Center.

Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time and use caution in the work zone.
