Traffic restored after crash at Illinois 13 and Giant City Road in Carbondale

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KBSI) — Emergency crews responded to a traffic crash at the intersection of Illinois 13 and Giant City Road in Carbondale, causing temporary traffic restrictions.

Authorities advised drivers to seek alternate routes while emergency personnel worked at the scene.

Officials later announced all lanes had reopened and traffic flow had returned to normal.
