Traffic slow going on Hwy. 61 eastbound between Cape Girardeau, Jackson

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Commuters can expect delays on US-61 Southbound between Cape Girardeau and Jackson.

According to the Missouri Department of Transportation Traveler Information Map, roadway damage caused the eastbound right lane to be closed on Feb. 24.

Traffic was backed up the morning of Thursday, March 10.

Expect delays until further notice.
