Traffic stop in McCracken County leads to car seat donation
MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A McCracken County Sheriff’s deputy and a Paducah based non-profit helped get two car seats for a family who could not afford them.
A deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Saturday, August 17.
During the interaction, the Deputy Pat Crown learned that the driver of the vehicle did not have the means to purchase a car seat for two children.
Deputy Crown called the emergency after hours number for Paducah based non-profit Starfish Orphan Ministries. After traveling an hour from a different county, a representative from Starfish Orphan Ministries delivered two car seats for the children.
