Traffic stop leads to drug arrests in Graves County

MAYFIELD, Ky., (KBSI) — A traffic stop on Interstate 69 Thursday led to the arrest of two Calloway County residents on drug charges.

Sgt. Ben Doran and Chief Deputy Jeremy Prince stopped a Ford F-150 near the 21-mile marker around 12:20 p.m. A search of the vehicle uncovered methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Donald Grimes, 63, and Heidi Grimes, 41, both of Murray, were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Donald Grimes also faces traffic offenses.
