Train derailment shuts down road in Paducah

LITTLEVILLE, Ky. (KBSI) – A train derailment happened Thursday in Littleville.

P & L Railway Transportation officials have taken charge of the investigation and clean up.

A train derailment occurred in Littleville between Chester Hack and Cleveland Street, according to a post on the McCracken County Emergency Management Facebook page.

DES/Rescue Squad went to scene to assist. Early reports indicate no one injured.

Officials estimate nine to 10 cars overturned.

Traffic on Chester Hack Drive is open with no delay.
