Trivia night benefit for Jackson teacher diagnosed with cancer 3 years after beating it

JACKSON, Mo. (KBSI) – The Jackson community came together Friday night for a trivia night event named “Surrounding Amber with Love.”  

The trivia night was a benefit event for Amber Odom, a Jackson school teacher who was diagnosed with breast cancer after beating it three years ago.  

Amber Odom was diagnosed with breast cancer three years ago and beat it. Now it is time to do it again. She is a 37-year-old school teacher at Jackson with a husband and two children. The cancer has resurfaced in other areas and she has started her fight against cancer again.

The night was a chance to help raise money for Amber and her family for medical bills. 

The trivia night benefit raised a total of $12,000.
