WASHINGTON (KBSI) — President Donald Trump on Tuesday celebrated a recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling involving transgender athletes, saying the decision supports his administration’s position that women’s sports should be limited to athletes assigned female at birth.
In a post on social media, Trump called the ruling a “big win” and said it “takes that ridiculous situation off the table.”
The White House also shared a graphic that read, “No men in women’s sports,” and stated, “From now on, women’s sports will only be for women.”
The post did not provide additional details about the Supreme Court decision. The ruling is part of an ongoing national debate over transgender athletes’ participation in girls’ and women’s sports.
