Two arrested in Murray, Kentucky, on drug-related charges
MURRAY, Ky., (KBSI) — Two people were arrested on March 3 after deputies attempted to serve an arrest warrant at a residence on Off Shore Drive.
Jeff Richardson, 58, of Murray, was taken into custody after a brief struggle, and Rhonda Cathey, 56, also of Murray, was arrested on charges including hindering prosecution and possession of controlled substances.
Richardson was wanted on an arrest warrant issued by Calloway County stemming from a February investigation into narcotics trafficking.
He faces charges including trafficking in controlled substances, possession of marijuana and resisting arrest.
Cathey was found to be in possession of illicit drugs upon arrival at the detention center and faces charges including possession of controlled substances, promoting contraband and possession of drug paraphernalia.
