Two crashes involving four vehicles close Reidland Road for about an hour

McCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Two separate crashes involving four vehicles temporarily closed a portion of Reidland Road on Thursday, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the 5000 block of Reidland Road near the intersection with U.S. Highway 60 for the collisions.

Authorities said four vehicles were involved across the two crashes. Two drivers were transported to local hospitals with non-incapacitating injuries.

The roadway was closed for approximately one hour while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.

Officials are reminding motorists to use extra caution in the area due to ongoing construction projects and lane closures.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Reidland-Farley Fire Department, Mercy Regional EMS and Vanzant’s Towing.
