Two hurt in early morning collision at busy Graves County intersectio

MAYFIELD, Ky. (KBSI) — Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning at the intersection of Kentucky 440 and Kentucky 408, according to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the crash occurred around 7:20 a.m. when a 2006 Mini Cooper driven by Melannie Tovar, 21, of Melber, struck a 2009 Dodge Caliber driven by Destiny Nichols, 20, of Arlington.
Nichols and her passenger, Damian Yeomons, were injured and transported to Lourdes Hospital for treatment. Tovar also reported injuries at the scene.
Emergency responders from multiple agencies assisted at the scene.
