Two indicted in Calloway County narcotics cases

MURRAY, Ky., (KBSI) – The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division presented multiple cases to the grand jury on October 24, resulting in true bills and indictment warrants for all parties involved.

At the time the indictments were served, both suspects were already in custody at separate detention facilities on charges related to narcotics and firearms offenses.

A’vion Cavitt, 25, of Grayson County, was served with his indictment on October 29 at the Grayson County Detention Center. He is charged with two counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (4 grams or more of cocaine), a Class C felony, and being a persistent felony offender in the second degree.

Kenneth Walls, 23, of Murray, was served with his indictment the same day at the Calloway County Detention Center. He faces identical charges—two counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (4 grams or more of cocaine), a Class C felony, and being a persistent felony offender in the second degree.
