Two injured in crash on Blandville Road in McCracken County

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Two people were injured in a crash Wednesday evening on Blandville Road.
Deputies responded around 5:50 p.m. April 1 to the 8700 block of Blandville Road for a reported injury accident.
According to investigators, Kelly Harris, 60, of Paducah, was driving eastbound in a 2024 GMC Yukon when a westbound vehicle driven by Phillip Morgan, 48, of Cunningham, crossed into the eastbound lane for unknown reasons. The vehicles collided in a sideswipe crash.
A witness traveling ahead of Harris left the roadway to avoid the crash.
Authorities said Morgan’s vehicle left the roadway, overturned and came to rest in a creek. Harris’ vehicle spun and stopped in the roadway. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage.
Blandville Road was closed for about 90 minutes while crews cleared the scene.
Both drivers were taken to area hospitals. Harris suffered non-incapacitating injuries, while Morgan sustained serious injuries.
Concord Fire Department, Mercy EMS and towing services assisted at the scene.
