Two injured in Jackson crash that damages utility pole

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) – Jackson police responded to a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning that damaged a city utility pole and sent two people to the hospital.

The crash occurred at about 7:24 a.m. at the intersection of West Main and Bast streets. An adult and a juvenile were transported to a local hospital for evaluation. Their conditions have not been released.

Traffic in the area was briefly impacted as first responders secured the scene and city utility crews began repairs.

The crash remains under investigation.
