Two juveniles charged with First Degree Burglary, guns stolen

PADUCAH Ky., (KBSI) –  Reports of guns stolen from local businesses leads to the arrest of 15 and 16 year old boys in Paducah. Police say it happened at Cash Express Pawn Shop located at 3315 Park Avenue.

The burglary happened on February 8th, prompting officers to respond after a glass-break alarm notification.

Through their investigation, officers and detectives determined a stolen vehicle was used to demolish the front entrance, giving both juveniles access to the business.

Once inside, a glass display case was smashed and several firearms were stolen from it.

In accordance with Kentucky state law, the names of these juveniles will not be released to the public.

The 15-year-old male and 16 year-old-male were both charged with Burglary 1st Degree.

The investigation is still developing and further charges are pending.
