Two juveniles detained after reported home invasion assault in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Officers with the Cape Girardeau Police Department responded at approximately 6:45 p.m. Feb. 19 to the 600 block of South Pacific for a reported assault.

Police said the victim reported that multiple suspects made contact at the residence, forced entry into the home and assaulted the victim.

Two juveniles were taken into custody. Additional suspects remain outstanding, and the investigation is ongoing.

No injuries were reported.
