Two Paduch men face drug trafficking charges

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – Two Paducah men were arrested after Paducah Police Department received a tip of drug trafficking.
Earlier this year, Detectives from the Paducah Police Department Drug Unit received information that William T. Hayes was trafficking in controlled substances. They were able to determine that Hayes was trafficking fentanyl and were able to secure indictment warrants for his arrest.
On September 12, around 5:12 pm officers with the Paducah Police Department found out William’s location and went to the 1700 block of Clark Street through an anonymous tip and, while investigating this information, Drug Detectives were also able to determine that Brandon Shelton was trafficking marijuana from the same residence on Clark Street.
Brandon Shelton, age 43 of Paducah was arrested for Trafficking in Marijuana Less than 5 Pounds, 1st Offense (Firearm Enhanced).
William T. Hayes, 49 years old, of Paducah was arrested on an indictment warrant charging him with three counts of Trafficking in Controlled Substances, 1st Offense (Carfentanil or Fentanyl Derivatives)
