Two rescued in water rescue operation on county road

LEOPOLD, Mo., (KBSI) – The Leopold Fire Department responded to a water rescue on April 5, 2025, at approximately 8:52 PM on County Road 402.

Fire personnel, assisted by the Woodland Fire Protection District, North Bollinger County Fire Protection District, and the Cape Girardeau Fire Department Regional HSRT Technical Rescue Team, successfully rescued two occupants trapped in the water and transported them to ground without injury.
