Two-vehicle crash in Graves County; 2 injuries

FANCY FARM, Ky., (KBSI) — A two-vehicle collision on KY 339 North at the intersection with KY 408 West injured two people on Jan. 11, 2025.

According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, Trent Snead, 70, of Fancy Farm, was turning left from KY 408 onto KY 339 when his Ford pickup truck pulled into the path of a Chevrolet 2500 truck pulling a trailer hauling a skid steer loader. The Chevrolet was operated by Barry Burnett, 52, of Mayfield.

The vehicles collided, and the Chevrolet went off the road, striking a utility pole.

Snead was transported to a nearby school, where he was airlifted to an out-of-state medical facility for treatment. Burnett was taken to Mercy Health Paducah for treatment.

Deputies Larry Jones and Zac Smith investigated the crash, with assistance from multiple agencies.
