Ty Ferrell and his daughter update viewers on Farmer Wants a Wife
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Many people were stunned to see that out of the four bachelor farmers. Sikeston’s own farmer Ty Ferrell decided to not choose either lady.
Wednesday he came to our FOX23 studios — along with his 12-year-old daughter Lennon to discuss the ending of the show — and why he decided not to choose either of his leading ladies:
“Why didn’t I pick anybody?” said Ty. “You know for me it was to find love, to find my person – that was the journey and it didn’t end that way and I didn’t feel strongly enough to ask for a commitment. Not for myself for sure and it is not fair to Lennon.
Ferrell said he’s gotten a lot of negative feedback from across American, disappointed to not see a happy ending for him.
“I definitely feel like I’m one of the most hated bachelors now to some people that really wanted a love story … they don’t know the back story and that’s alright,” he said.
As for Lennon — here’s what she had to say about the season — and thoughts on the perfect lady for her dad:
“Be prepared to deal with him in a good way he is very silly sometimes,” she said.
“I don’t aggravate you at all do I?” Ferrell jokingly asked, Lennon.
“Sometimes — ha-ha!” She replied.
