U.S. 641 reopened between Eddyville & Fredonia after semi gets stuck

LYON COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – U.S. 641 is back open near the 3 mile marker in Lyon County between Eddyville and Fredonia after a semi became stuck while making a turn.

U.S. 641 was blocked at the KY 3169 (New Bethel Church Road) intersection at mile point 3.15 where a semi trying to make a turn ran off the roadway and caused damage to the pavement, according to Keith Todd with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

The road reopened about 2 p.m.
