Union City Elementary School holds Grandparents Day

UNION CITY, Tenn. (KBSI) – Union City Elementary School held Grandparents Day with several gatherings across the campus this past Tuesday and Wednesday.

More than 2,000 grandparents attended the event with their grandchildren, according to Principal Allison Palmer.

Attendants received lemonade and cookies after students sang songs lead by music teacher Katie Tohn.

Afterwards, time was available for visits and photos in the library and courtyard.
