Union City man arrested following multi-agency operation

UNION CITY, Tenn., (KBSI) — A multiple agency operation on Thursday, June 26, 2025, led to the arrest of Jon Bailey Marvin, 22, of Union City.

The Obion County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, along with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Homeland Security, conducted the operation, assisted by the Union City Police Department and Dyersburg Police Department. The Obion County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team secured a residence and detained Marvin.

Approximately 5 pounds of marijuana and 9 ounces of cocaine were seized, along with a firearm with the serial number removed. Marvin was charged with possession with intent to sell Schedule VI and Schedule II substances, as well as possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony. He is currently being held without bond.

Marvin is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
