Unionville, TN man facing drug charges in Murray, KY after traffic stop

MURRAY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Unionville, Tennessee man faces drug charges in Calloway County, Ky. after a traffic stop.

John Davenport, 37, faces charges of possession of controlled substance 1st deg, 1st off-methamphetamine (Class D felony), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on Olive Street in Murray around 11 a.m. on January 29.

The driver, Davenport, was found to be in possession of illicit drugs, according to the sheriff’s deputies.

He was arrested and taken to the Calloway County Detention Facility.
