United Way establishes Winter Recovery Fund for Southeast Missouri storm victims

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — United Way of Southeast Missouri has established a Winter Recovery Fund to aid individuals and families affected by recent ice and snowstorms that caused widespread power outages.

The fund will benefit those in Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Perry and northern Scott counties.

United Way of Southeast Missouri has a history of providing disaster relief, having distributed over $100,000 to communities affected by the 2017 Perryville tornado and the 2023 Bollinger County tornado and flood.
