United Way of Southeast Missouri seeks ropes volunteers for ‘Over The Edge’

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – United Way of Southeast Missouri wants firefighters and first responders to register as ropes volunteers to help the United Way go Over The Edge for Southeast Missouri.

Over The Edge will be Friday, May 20 at Towers South at Southeast Missouri State University located at 1000 Towers Circle in Cape Girardeau.

The goal is to have 52 “Edgers” raise money and rappel down the side of Towers South.

United Way of Southeast Missouri raises money for nearly 40 programs in Cape Girardeau, Perry, Bollinger, and Northern Scott counties.

As of Friday, April 15, there were 20 spots left to go Over The Edge.
