UPDATE: Cape Girardeau police link two robberies, arrest juvenile suspect

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Police have linked two robberies, one on Jan. 2, 2025, and another on Feb. 13, 2025, through the same method of working.

A search warrant executed on Feb. 23, 2025, at a residence in the 100-block of S. West End yielded evidence and resulted in the arrest of one juvenile, who was taken to the Cape Girardeau County Juvenile Office.

The Feb. 13 robbery occurred at the intersection of Bloomfield and Louis St. at approximately 3:00 p.m.

The victim reported being assaulted by three males who exited a green Kia Sol and stole their cell phone and vape.

Two juvenile suspects were apprehended after a traffic stop, and two others remain outstanding.
