UPS driver helps elderly woman after vehicle gets stuck in ditch

McCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — A UPS driver is being recognized for stopping his route to help an elderly woman in distress.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office said UPS driver Caleb Estes spotted the woman after her vehicle became stuck in a ditch in front of HLOE.

Estes stopped to help the woman out of the ditch and stayed with her as they walked across a parking lot. The sheriff’s office said he held her hand until others could take over and provide assistance.

The woman was able to safely return home.

The sheriff’s office recognized Estes for his compassion and willingness to help a stranger in need.
