Uptown Scarecrow Contest returns for second year; Voting open through Oct. 23

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — The 2nd Annual Uptown Scarecrow Contest officially begins today, inviting the public to enjoy fall-themed displays throughout the Uptown District and vote for their favorites.

Local businesses have crafted unique scarecrows to showcase their creativity and comm

unity spirit. Visitors can stroll through Uptown to view the displays and cast their votes in person or vote online by scanning the QR code featured on contest flyers.

Voting runs through Oct. 23. Photos of the scarecrows will be added to contest updates as new entries appear, encouraging the community to keep checking back and choose their favorite.

The event aims to celebrate local businesses while engaging residents and visitors in a seasonal tradition.
