US Rep. Mike Bost seeks audit of St. Louis postal facility amid mail delays

WASHINGTON (KBSI) — U.S. Rep. Mike Bost, R-Ill., is seeking an audit of the St. Louis Postal Processing and Distribution Center, citing persistent complaints about mail delays, misdeliveries and lost items.

In a letter sent Wednesday, Bost noted that the center, which serves as the central mail hub for southern Illinois, was last audited in 2022.

He said reforms promised as a result of that audit have not been implemented.
