Valerie Hotop joins Saint Francis Pain Management Center

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Saint Francis Healthcare System announced Valerie Hotop, FNP-BC, has joined its Pain Management Center.

Hotop graduated from Maryville University in St. Louis in 2025 and is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

The Pain Management Center at Saint Francis Medical Center provides care for patients experiencing acute and chronic pain. The center’s staff reviews patients’ medical and family histories, identifies the source of pain and develops individualized treatment plans.

Founded in 1875 by the Franciscan Sisters, Saint Francis Healthcare System serves communities across southeast Missouri. The system is anchored by Saint Francis Medical Center, a 306-bed tertiary hospital, and includes nearly 3,000 employees and more than 250 providers across 10 communities.

Major services include a cancer institute, emergency and Level III trauma center, family birth center and Level III neonatal intensive care unit, heart hospital, neurosciences and orthopedics.
