Veterans Day parade set for Nov. 11 in Jackson

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) – The Jackson Police Department has announced details for the city’s annual Veterans Day Parade, scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 4 p.m.
Veterans from all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces will parade through the uptown Jackson area. The route will begin at the Frozen Food Locker on South High Street, proceed north on High Street, turn west on Main Street, and continue south on Russell Street.
Parking along the parade route will be restricted beginning at 3 p.m., and any vehicles parked after that time will be towed.
Police are asking motorists to use caution, watch for pedestrians, and be mindful of street closures during the event. Parking will reopen immediately following the parade.
