Vienna High School achieves 100% FAFSA completion rate

VIENNA, Ill., (KBSI) — Vienna High School has achieved 100% completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, making it one of only seven schools in Illinois to reach this milestone.

According to the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, Vienna is the only school outside of Chicago to achieve 100% completion and has the largest senior class among the top seven schools.

“Completing the FAFSA removes a hurdle for our students and opens up doors for many of them,” said Superintendent Dr. Joshua Stafford. “Mrs. Rhi Slife’s coordination of these efforts is extremely valuable to our students and families.”

The FAFSA is a requirement for many postsecondary activities, and completion of the application allows Illinois students access to state-funded Monetary Award Program grants.
