VIENNA, Ill., (KBSI) — Three Vienna High School juniors earned composite scores of 30 or higher on the ACT during the fall testing session, placing them among the nation’s top test-takers.
Caleb Gaddis, Carmen Simpson and Tiffany Richardson were added to the school’s ACT 30 Plus Club. A composite score of 30 ranks in approximately the 95th percentile nationally, meaning the score exceeds that of about 95% of ACT test-takers each year.
Guidance counselor Rhi Slife said the achievement reflects sustained effort and commitment.
“These scores represent a tremendous amount of hard work and dedication,” Slife said. “Our students continue to set high goals for themselves, and it’s rewarding to see that dedication pay off. We are incredibly proud of them.”
Superintendent Joshua Stafford said the results also highlight the broader support system surrounding students.
“Earning a score of 30 or higher on the ACT is a significant academic milestone,” Stafford said. “These results speak not only to the students’ determination, but also to the strong partnership between our staff, families and school community in preparing students for success beyond high school.”
Vienna students will have another opportunity to take the ACT during the spring semester. For more information, contact Rhi Slife at rhiannonlslife@viennahs.com.
