Vienna High School senior recognized as U.S. Presidential Scholars Program candidate

VIENNA, Ill., (KBSI) – Vienna High School senior Ethan Hook was recently recognized as a candidate for the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program.
TJ Morthland, representing the office of Mike Bost, visited the school to present Hook with a certificate honoring the national academic distinction.
The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program is considered one of the nation’s highest honors for high school students, recognizing achievement in academics, leadership, service and character. Candidates are selected from across the country based on their accomplishments and future potential.
School officials said the presentation recognized the significance of the achievement at the local level, with staff and community representatives attending the event.
