Vienna High School Youth for Christ to host National Day of Prayer event

VIENNA, Ill. (KBSI) – Vienna High School Youth for Christ will host a National Day of Prayer event on Thursday, May 2. Everyone in the community is invited. It will begin at 11:45 a.m. on the front lawn of the high school building.

On the same day, Youth for Christ will also host the Spring Pastor Prayer Meeting at 10 a.m. They will connect about upcoming summer events and future planning for Overtime and other activities.

Vienna high school student, lee baker says the prayer day will be focusing on seniors next journey next step in life, a safe summer for all students and a strong ending to the school year.

“I think it’s important to show your faith, in front of others because maybe, it will help lead them to faith, and I think it’s a very important thing to do that,” said Vienna High School Freshman Lee Baker.

The prayer group will be meeting Thursday, May 2 at 11:45 a.m. on the front lawn of the Vienna High School building.
