Volunteers sought to aid in storm cleanup efforts in Marion, Illinois

MARION, Ill., (KBSI) — A volunteer reception center is being established to coordinate cleanup efforts following Friday’s storm damage south of Marion.

The Williamson County Emergency Management Agency is seeking volunteers, particularly those with chainsaws and other equipment to help clear debris from the tornado.

The reception center will open at 10 a.m. Saturday at the City of Marion Training Center, 211 E. Boulevard St.
